Combo Queen (Action RPG Hybrid) App Reviews

This game honestly deserves more attention. Its simple, polished and rewards attentive players. Enemy attacks are telegraphed by hints that the game never bothers explaining, letting you struggle with your own learning curve. It may feel like childs play in the beginning but the difficulty ramps up with your level. It might seem counter intuitive, but it means each run starts at a challenging pace and doesnt flag. Also, just when you think you have it figured out a new mechanic comes out of left field. It reminds me of Super Hexagon in the very best way. Also, I have not experienced any of the technical problems others have reported. Fear not.

Hopefully the controls are more forgiving...

Combo Queen is a pixel style tap combo game that gets very difficult very quickly. The game expects you to rack up large combos at a break neck pace but its very difficult to get the timing down correctly. I was struggling to get passed the first boss even after I had unlocked all the tomahawks and had endless powerup items. It is definitely addicting and will keep you coming back to try and process further but it almost feels like at a certain point the attacks are coming so fast that no matter how fast I tap I get killed. That being said it was fun while it lasted and I love the pixel art style.

Really like this game

Its a great game but it needs a little extra something-something, maybe a loot system or a pet system.

I was really missing the fighting mechanic from Legend of Dragoon (ps1) and this has filled the void. Like many successful apps the game is simple, but addictive. It challenges you and you want to do a little better each time. Getting your combos is great, but successfully blocking is incredibly satisfying.

We are search in to the App Store seeking to find this kind of games, but somehow I found it by a coincidence and I instantly said "finally something of my likes" then I buy it. After playing this game man 10/10, still need to practice the mechanics of combos and Perry to be better over the time. I highly recommend those who like this type of games. Love and peace!

Simple and addictive. Fast paced. Gorgeous pixel art. But there isnt enough to it to keep me interested.

Great fun, hard to get a hold on at first but really enjoyable
